Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded Introduces The Boys

Activision has recently released new details about Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded.

Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded Launch

Season 4 Reloaded will launch on July 12, 2023 at 9 AM PT/ 12 PM ET/ 5 PM BST. This mid-season update will include crossover content with the popular TV show The Boys. It will also introduce new multiplayer map and Warzone features.

    The Boys Operators

Choose between Starlight, Homelander, or Black Noir from The Boys as new Operators. They are included in new Operator bundles each priced at 2,400 COD Points.

Temp V serum will be added too. This will provide users with superpowers for a limited time when they use it and grant them four random superpowers like Charge Jump, Laser Vision, Electric Shockwave or Teleport in their Field Upgrade slot.

New Map on Modern Warfare 2

On Modern Warfare 2, the update will introduce the new core 6v6 map Vondel Waterfront, an adapted area from the larger Warzone map.

“Operators cannot swim underneath the houseboats and need to keep action mostly on ‘land’ — that is, the pontoon homes on the water and the decks connecting this district together,” according to Activision.

“Additionally, several of the buildings are boarded up, and two of the available four traversable buildings have new coats of paint – Red and Blue – that mark the most prominent positions on the map.”

    Special Ops Ends

The Special Ops Atomgrad narrative will be ending with Season 4 Reloaded.

“The members of Task Force 141 have been captured and imprisoned by Al-Qatala asset Hadir,” Activision said. “In this epic conclusion to Atomgrad, it’s up to you and two other Operators to get out and finish what you started.”

    Other Changes

The mid-season update brings the classic Battle Royale experience to the map with support for up to 72 players. There is also a new Gulag set in Vondel castle’s wine cellar and dungeon. There are also returning features including the Signals Intelligence Contract, the Portable Redeploy Drone, and the Occupation Scan.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
