Monster Hunter World Is Now The Best Selling Capcom Game

Capcom, the major publisher of franchises such as Resident Evil and Marvel vs. Capcom, has officially announced that Monster Hunter World, the first-ever Monster Hunter title for this generation, shipped about 7.5 million units – both digital and physical – worldwide.

Monster Hunter World’s positive feedback from the community, especially from the West, eventually driven the game’s sales. Considered to be one of the most anticipated games for this year, Monster Hunter World is also set to launch on PC later this year. Unlike its predecessors, this entry of the Monster Hunter franchise paved its way for newcomers and has become more accessible.

With the success of Monster Hunter World, Iron Galaxy Studios, the studio behind the Batman: Arkham Knight port, definitely shown their interest in porting the game to Nintendo Switch. Fans of the platform have been asking for the game to come out on Nintendo Switch. Monster Hunter XX is the only current Monster Hunter game available on the system, however, Capcom has yet to do a localized version of the game.

According to the review of Enricko Ozoa, “To sum it all up, this is most likely the greatest game in the Monster Hunter franchise and it definitely blew 2018’s doors wide open for amazing games. It’s fun, it’s exciting, and you shouldn’t miss out on all the action. So get a copy, play with your friends, and hunt down monsters in ways that you only imagined possible!”

Aside from that, Enricko has also given his thoughts for new players about the best things to do in Monster Hunter World with his 5 tips in monster hunting.

Monster Hunter World is now available on PS4 and Xbox One. A PC version is still under development as Capcom wants to polish the game first before handing it out on the platform. Monster Hunter World is going to be the first entry in the franchise that will arrive on PC.
