    Mortal Kombat 1 Download Size is Quite Massive

    NetherRealm Studios has officially revealed the Mortal Kombat 1 download size and it is quite huge for a game.

    Mortal Kombat 1 Download Size Eats Up Lots of Storage Space

    It is no surprise that the Mortal Kombat 1 download size is huge because it is quite the same as its predecessor, Mortal Kombat 11. MK1 based on its official Steam page, the game at least will need 100 GB of available space to install the game. Based on a report by reliable insider Twitter user PlayStationSize, the exact download size of the game is 114.414 GB on version 1.000.001. Its predecessor, however, has a download size of 110 GB plus 4K resources which has the size of 40 GB.

    Fans of the Mortal Kombat series will have to clear up space for the game and delete a LOT of backlog games to install this heavy title.

    • DirectX: Version 12
    • Storage: 100 GB available space

    • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system

    • Memory: 8 GB RAM

    Aside from the download size, NetherRealm Studios also announced the official preload times of the game for both standard and Premium Editions. Check them out below:

    • 10 am September 17th – Pacific Standard Time (PST)
    • 1 pm September 17th – Eastern Standard Time (EST)
    • 6 pm September 17th – British Summer Time (BST)
    • 3 am September 18th – Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)

    Premium Edition Preload Times:

    • 10 am September 12th – Pacific Standard Time (PST)
    • 1 pm September 12th – Eastern Standard Time (EST)

    Mortal Kombat 1 launches on September 19, 2023 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
