Mortal Kombat 1 marketing campaign confirms that there will be guest Kameo fighters and skins.
The Brazilian marketing campaign for Mortal Kombat 1 has recently revealed that NetherRealm is planning to release guest Kameo Fighters and Skins soon. Currently, there are 15 Kameo Fighters in the game, but these new guest fighters will be introduced in the future with their own exclusive Fatalities.
The studio intends to support the game with extra Kameo Fighters DLC and skins. The marketing campaign had those in the bullet points and the final one said that it would play an “active part of the post-launch Kampaign.”
The commenters on the Reddit thread are already speculating their own fighters that will be joining the Kameo Fighter roster. Some theorized that since The Boys’ Homelander is joining, Black Noir might be joining as a Kameo Fighter. Others also think that Invincible, son of Omni-Man, will be joining too with Vigilante and Peacemaker.
Mortal Kombat 1 launches on September 19, 2023 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
