NetherRealm Studios has confirmed that Mortal Kombat 1 will be launching with one feature missing on day one.
It was recently confirmed by the studio that Mortal Kombat 1 will be released without crossplay on day one. This is one of the many features that many gamers look forward to these days especially for a game that will be launching on multiple platforms. It is a way for them and their friends to play together without getting forced to play on one platform only.
It does not mean that the feature will not be coming at all to the game. NetherRealm Studios promised that the team is now hard at work implementing the feature into the game in the future. It did not specify the date, but at least fans know that it is definitely coming.
Mortal Kombat 1 launching on September 14, 2023 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
