Mortal Kombat 1 Official Rulers of Outworld Trailer Revealed

NetherRealm Studios has officially revealed the new Mortal Kombat 1 Official Rulers of Outworld trailer showcasing new playable characters.

Mortal Kombat 1 Official Rulers of Outworld Trailer is Brutal

At Gamescom Opening Night Live, Mortal Kombat Co-Creator Ed Boom appeared to announce that a new trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 was going to be shown and he promised that this will be the “craziest trailer they have revealed.” It was indeed crazy as it revealed more brutality and a shocking new twist to the stories of characters we all know.

    Great General

The first character to show up is the great Shao Khan or as they call him now General Shao. He is no longer the Khan of Outworld as it is ruled by a rather interesting character. General Shao does not use a large hammer anymore but a large axe that he swings around like a one handed ax. Just like his previous versions, he still has big plans for Outworld and it seems he wants to rule it all by himself.

    Bow to Your Queen

The second character is Queen Sindel who now looks like an “honorable” royalty in this reality. She seems to rule wisely as she scolds General Shao as he tells his schemes in the upcoming tournament. She still retains her powers here with her hair and deadly screams.

This is a new reality that Liu Kang has created, so these characters might have changed entirely, but the trailer makes one doubt of their actions. It seems their old “habits” are starting to surface and it shows in this new trailer.

Mortal Kombat 1 launches on September 19, 2023 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
