It has been confirmed that Mortal Kombat 1 Omni-Man will be voiced by its original voice actor from the animated series on Amazon Prime.

Mortal Kombat 1 Omni-Man Voice Actor Confirmed

After it was confirmed earlier this weekend at San Diego Comic-Con that Invincible’s Omni-Man, Homelander, and Peacemaker will be coming to Mortal Kombat 1, it has now been revealed in an interview that the iconic J.K Simmons will be voicing Omni-Man. He will be back again to become the worst dad of Invincible.

This was revealed in an interview on the show floor with Netherrealm’s Ed Boon. “It’s as authentic as it can be,” he said.

    J.K Simmons History

Simmons has taken up a lot of roles across, film, TV, and video games for a long time. He has been playing J. Jonah Jameson across various Spider-Man media including Sam Raimi’s trilogy, Far From Home and Now Way Home, Across the Spider-Verse, and many more. Lately, he voiced Omni-Man in Amazon Prime animated series Invincible which will be getting a Season 2 release on November 3, 2023. As a guest fighter in Mortal Kombat 1, he will be taking on the same role but this time in a game.

Mortal Kombat 1 launches on September 19, 2023 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
