Mortal Kombat 1 Switch trailer just got pulled out on YouTube after an odd “pop-up” appeared in it.
This out-of-place pop-up that appears in the middle of the launch trailer is a Steam achievement. The video is for the controversial Nintendo Switch version of Mortal Kombat 1, which is getting trolled online for its horrible graphics and its price of $70.
This discovery has now added fuel to the fire called criticism that is currently burning ever brighter. Players found out that instead of a Nintendo Switch version of the game, it was PC gameplay that got featured in the launch trailer, hence the Steam achievement.
The launch trailer has been pulled out from the YouTube channel of Nintendo of America, but the moment in question has been preserved in a screenshot and shared online. The image revealed that the Steam achievement appeared at the 1:53 mark.
Yesterday, Co-Founder Ed Boon promised that these issues on the Switch version will be addressed soon. No word yet when that will happen, but with NetherRealm’s reputation, that could be soon.
Mortal Kombat 1 is now available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
