Warner Bros. Games has recently announced the official MultiVersus Open Beta release date.
MultiVersus Open Beta Release Date
The MultiVersus Open Beta release date is on July 26, 2022 and it will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It will include full cross-play support and dedicated server-based rollback netcode for the best online competition.
Early Access
The game is a free-to-play platform fighter and still in development by Player First Games. An Early Access period will start on July 19, 2022, which will be a chance for players to experience the Open Beta before the release. Early Access will be available to anyone who participated in the Closed Berta and those who has a code via Twitch Drops.
Gameplay Trailer Drops
Aside from the Open Beta announcement, a new gameplay trailer was released today. It showcases the first look of Iron Giant, who will be playable starting July 19, 2022. He is one of the 16 characters that will be available to play together with Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Harley Quinn, Velma, Shaggy, Tasmanian Devil, Bugs Bunny, Arya Stark, Tom & Jerry, Finn the Human, Jake the Dog, Garnet, Steven Universe, and Reindog.
Locations
Open beta and Early Access will include eight different maps like the Batcave, Scooby’s Haunted Mansion, Tree Fort, and more. There are various modes to choose from like 2 vs. 2 team-based cooperative mode, 1 vs. 1 matches, 4-player free-for-all, co-op vs. A.I. matches, custom online lobbies, practice mode or The Lab, tutorials, and local play matches.
