NBA 2K22 Details New Ways to Explore the All-New City

2K Games just unveiled an in-depth look at the updates coming to The City in NBA 2K22 for next-generation consoles. It features a vibrant basketball community with unique rewards and a great variety of activities, and a fresh new MyCAREER story with an original quest-driven narrative, cutscenes, and vibe that all takes place in The City.

If you’re playing on PS4 and Xbox One, and unfortunately, on PC, you won’t have access to the new innovations of The City in NBA 2K22.

These new updates include new City quests, that are considered to be solo ventures for players to experiment with their careers off the court — that can be becoming a fashion mogul to a rap icon.

There will also be an increased population in The City that will be teeming with life as NPCs roam the streets. Players can also upgrade their crib, including a penthouse with a zipline.

The ability to explore new buildings as well is added to The City, and rewards will also include new ways to get around The City like Go-Karts and Inline Skates.

However, The Neighborhood will return to PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. In NBA 2K22, you will set sail aboard the “Cancha del Mar” — from the lobby to the ship’s top deck. Each level of the ship is designed to offer different types of activities such as hoops.

NBA 2K22 is currently scheduled for release on September 10 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
