2K Games today announced a powerhouse trio of cover athletes for NBA 2K25: Boston Celtics’ reigning champion Jayson Tatum, WNBA superstar A’ja Wilson, and Hall-of-Famer Vince Carter.
Five-time NBA All-Star Jayson Tatum, fresh off leading the Celtics to an NBA championship, will grace the cover of the Standard Edition. “It’s an honor to be named a cover athlete for NBA 2K25,” said Tatum. “I’ve been playing NBA 2K since I was a kid and it’s been a dream to one day be on the cover.”
A’ja Wilson, two-time WNBA MVP and champion with the Las Vegas Aces, shares the spotlight on the All-Star Edition and is the solo star of the GameStop Exclusive WNBA Edition. “Being featured on the NBA 2K25 cover is a big moment for me and a testament to the ever-growing fandom of the WNBA,” said Wilson.
Eight-time All-Star and high-flying dunker Vince Carter, recently inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, is featured in the Hall of Fame Edition. “Between the honors NBA 2K and the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame have bestowed upon me, this year is an unforgettable one,” Carter reflected.

NBA 2K25 will be available on September 6, 2024, on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Four editions will be available:
