Netflix has recently released Netflix The Witcher Season 3 teaser trailer today revealing the upcoming release date.
The newest teaser trailer for the upcoming The Witcher Season 3 is rather short, but it does give fans the official release date. According to the video, the third season will be broken into two volumes: I and II. The first volume will be released on June 29, 2023 while the second on July 27, 2023.
The video features the three major characters in the series: Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri. After the consequences of warping to another realm, the three have now landed in another world where they are being hunted by The Wild Hunt. The enemies have not been clearly shown here yet, but for those who have already played the games and read the books, it is quite obvious who their pursuers are.
Prior to this teaser trailer, Henry Cavill who portrayed Geralt is stepping down from the role by the end of Season 3. In the next season, the one who will be replacing him is Liam Hemsworth.
