Three new DualSense controller colors have been announced by Sony Interactive Entertainment today. There are also new PS5 console covers that will be released afterwards.
SIE just announced three more colors that will join the PS5 family of color accessory offerings. These colors are Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple. These adds to the previous colors which were Cosmic Red and Midnight Black DualSense wireless controller colors. These controllers will be available globally in January 2022.
These colors will be a good addition to the collection of players who love to get every color and design of PlayStation controllers.
Aside from the new DualSense controller colors, SIE also revealed the new PS5 console covers that will match with the galaxy-inspired DualSense wireless controller colors. These are the Galactic Purple, Midnight Black, Starlight Blue, Cosmic Red, and Nova Pink.
SIE stated that these new covers are easy to install. Just remove the original white PS5 console covers and then snap these back into place. These new colors will be available for both Digital Edition and the ones with the Ultra HD Blu-Ray disc drive. These covers and DualSense controllers are sold separately.
These are the participating countries that will have the Midnight Black and Cosmic Red PS5 colors starting January 2022: USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Korea, and the Philippines. Nova Pink, Galactic Purple and Starlight Blue PS5 console covers will launch in these locations in the first half of 2022. More colors will be available in more territories within the year so wait for the official announcement.
