    Matches with Everybody 1-2-Switch

The colors of the new Joy-Con controllers actually match the theme of the new sequel Everybody 1-2-Switch. It seems the new sets are to celebrate the official launch of Nintendo’s sequel to one of its most popular party games they have produced.

Everybody 1-2-Switch is the follow up to 1-2-Switch, which was a launch title for Nintendo’s latest console. This sequel will feature a host of weird and wonderful minigames.

“In those games, you’ll use your Joy-Con controller or smart device in fun and unique ways, earning points for your team. In time-honored fashion, the team with the most points gets to claim the glory!”

    Previous Special Joy-Con Controllers

Nintendo has always released various Joy-Con controllers over the years with different themes and colors. These themes would be based on popular franchises and usually, it will be their first—party titles. Some of the notable special Joy-Con controllers were the ones themed on Zelda games, Fortnite, Splatoon, Pokemon, and many more. There have been various colors too like Red, Blue, Gray, Black, White, Neon Yellow, Neon Green, and now these new Pastel colored Joy-Con controllers.

With the Nintendo Switch still the flagship console of Nintendo, Joy-Con controllers are not going away.
