A new Mortal Kombat 1 leak claims to reveal the contents of the upcoming Kombat Pack.

Mortal Kombat 1 just got revealed yesterday and there are already some leaks and rumors floating around online. Today, a new leak just got discovered which reveals the contents of a particular DLC.

According to a new leak shared by Twitter user Idle Sloth, Amazon Italy has accidentally revealed the contents of Kombat Pack 1 roster for Mortal Kombat 1. The contents are interesting as the playable characters include some of the most powerful individuals outside the Mortal Kombat universe.

6 playable characters: Quan Chi, Omni Man, Ermac, Peacemaker, Takeda, Homelander 5

Kameo characters: Tremor, Johnny Cage, Khameleon, Mavado, Ferra, and Jean Claude Van Damme skin

The accidental leak on Amazon Italy is gone now, but once it is online, it will never, ever, get deleted. It will stay online, forever.

What is posted online, stays online.

Based on the list, the six playable characters are quite diverse starting with the powerful demon of the Netherrealm Quan Chi who is known for his dark magic and necromancy. He is also the cause of Scorpion’s previous strife. To make a comeback here in Mortal Kombat 1 is just perfect. Ermac is also coming back and Takeda as well, a few of the fan favorites in previous Mortal Kombat incarnations.

The surprising part of the list is the THREE guest characters that will join the roster: Omni Man from Invincible, Peacemaker from DC, and Homelander from The Boys. Three big characters from their own respective comic universes. It will be one hell of a battle with them around.

According to the official website, Kameo characters are separate fighters that will aid the playable ones in battle. It seems the tag team system or something similar is going to be implemented in the second full reboot of the franchise. Some of these characters are quite obscure and only the hardcore fans know them from memory, but these two entries in the list are surprising: Johnny Cage and Jean Claude Van Damme skin. The latter could be a translation error done by Google Translate since this is a skin that will be included in the Kombat Pack 1 and not a character at all. Johnny Cage, on the other hand, is surprising. It was confirmed that he will be a playable base character on the official website so for him to be added to the list is questionable.

The only conclusion we could speculate from this is another translation error by Google Translate. The actual English translation for the list could be that Johnny Cage is a separate entry and not part of the two lists. It was revealed officially that Johnny Cage has a Jean Claude Van Damme skin and will be available on launch, so that could be it actually. The rest though could be real.

Mortal Kombat 1 launches on September 19, 2023 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
