Next-generation consoles info reveal might get early or late schedules
Analyst Daniel Ahmad claimed that the change of schedules for the reveal was caused by the cancellation of E3 this year. This has led the platform holders to move many planned announcements outside the show’s schedules.
A source has told publication Video Games Chronicle that game company Sony Interactive Entertainment was actually planning to hold a big reveal of the PlayStation 5 this coming May. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the plans were disrupted and had to change their plans. This also includes the release of The Last of Us 2, which was also cancelled.
VGC’s source also claimed that Microsoft was planning for a reveal of its Xbox Series X and maybe other models this coming May aside from a digital E3 showcase.
More details might be coming in at a later time with official announcements from both big companies. We will be updating you with the latest news here at Sirus Gaming. For now, take these rumors with a grain of salt.
