Nintendo Australia’s Zelda Tears of the Kingdom ad is titled “Rediscover Your Sense of Adventure” which features a weary businessman traveling home on the bus. He arrives home, does his usual chores, and then tries out the new game in the living room where he suddenly gets “reinvigorated” by his creativity after trying out a puzzle.
During his travel via bus, the businessman fires up his Nintendo Switch OLED and plays the game again, this time Link is fighting against various types of enemies. After defeating them all, he celebrates silently while in his seat. He then sees Link riding a flying gadget in the sky and then looks outside the window and at the blue sky. He lets out a sigh, but this time he is now having a good time.
Various gamers approve of this simple and nostalgic ad by Nintendo Australia as it shows the positive aspects of playing games as it can provide entertainment and escapism for individuals who always feel stressed after work or in other daily routines. It has now over 840,000 views and 48,000 likes.
The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom launches on May 12, 2023 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
