Nintendo has assured the gaming community that it will not raise Nintendo Switch prices despite the situation in Japan.
In a recent Q&A session with the Nintendo Investors meeting, the game company has announced that it will not be raising the prices of the Nintendo Switch console systems. They will not make any changes to the prices even if the Japanese yen right now is weak. This was a response to a report that was recently seen online stating that prices might go up due to some circumstances. It seems that was false.
In the same investors meeting, Nintendo revealed that it has now acquired over 36 million active subscribers for the Nintendo Switch Online service. This is a feature that allowed players to play online or save on a cloud. It also gave access to classic N64 games with the Expansion Pass tier. There are also other classic titles aside from the N64 platform.
