The newest Nintendo Switch update version 16.0.0 is now available to download after a long time since last year.
The previous update, update version 15.0.1 was released way back after Halloween 2022. With this new version, various bugs have been fixed, but there seem to be no new major additions to the UI or features this time around. This is not a major addition, but this new addition will make user nicknames that cannot be used be replaced with “???” instead. It is a useful feature that lets players know which nicknames should not be used rather than blindly entering random names.

- User nicknames that cannot be used will be replaced with “???” which can be updated from the profile settings.
- General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.
