Hello Games has recently announced that No Man’s Sky celebrates 7th birthday and to celebrate with it, a tease of its next update.
No Man’s Sky is now seven years old and Hello Games is now celebrating its birthday recently with a new video. It showed the space sim’s latest milestone and revealed an interesting new tease of its upcoming new update that will be released later. It is just the title but it does give fans what to expect next.
Studio Boss Sean Murray shared a statement to briefly reflect on seven years of updates from its problematic start, the success of the game’s comeback, and the following successful content. “Seven years ago…we watched players all over the world begin to explore the universe we had created,” Murray shared in a message to celebrate No Man’s Sky’s seventh anniversary. “I can’t describe what that felt like. It was already the culmination of five previous years of very hard work for our tiny team.”
“We knew this was the start of a journey, but never expected what a wild ride it would be. I’ve been working on this game for nearly a third of my life, and it’s been more successful than we ever planned or dreamed. It hasn’t always been easy, but the thing that has been our guiding star throughout has been the players and the community. Behind every update, every video, every feature and line in a patch note is a team that cares so deeply for this game.”
After that, the video throws in a little tease for the next update, which is officially going to be called Echoes. No details yet on what Echoes will include, but it could be related to the recent corruption spreading across planets in the game.
Happy birthday, No Man’s Sky!
