Hello Games is releasing a new update that continues to improve No Man’s Sky’s Quality of Life (QoL). The Expedition update offers a whole new game mode that changes each season according to Hello Games’ founder, Sean Murray, in a blog post on PlayStation Blog.
“For the first time we will be starting all players together on the same planet and setting them off on a community expedition,” Murray wrote.
“Through the Expedition planner Travellers can embark on a series of milestones, each bringing new challenges… some are simple, others only the most dedicated will reach. Completed milestones unlock gorgeous mission patches to display, and a host of new content that can be accessed across all saves.”
This update adds a new layer of challenges for explores in the No Man’s Sky. In return, players are also going to be rewarded with cool new jetpacks, an exclusive ship, and titles — all of which are already live.
Hello Games has been ramping up its overall experience for players in No Man’s Sky lately, making it one of the best sci-fi survival games.
No Man’s Sky is already available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Next-gen upgrades are also available, plus the game supports cross-play.
