Now we get a full look of what we have to expect in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed movie. It is shown in the trailer that the movie will not be in any way tied in to the story of the first Assassin’s Creed nor will it also be an Ezio-centric setting. The movie goes to the time during the Spanish Inquisition. This will be interesting on how they can actually pull this off, it also shows in the trailer that Ubisoft is also involved in the production of the film. It’s safe to say that they have taken this into consideration and have agreed to the decision of the film’s director.
Also, we can see in the trailer that the famous Animus is somewhat like a machine that holds the host and simulates the person’s move unlike what was featured in the games. It’s kind of bit weird though, but it’s quite interesting to have this kind of concept for the Animus.
Starring Michael Fassbender, Assassin’s Creed will hit the theaters in the United States on December 21, 2016.
For the fans who are living in the Philippines, it’s a big possibility that the film will hit our local theaters by January or after the Metro Manila Film Festival.
