After last week’s news of Blizzard removing Tracer’s over-sexualized pose in Overwatch due to complaints, today Blizzard has released a new update for the game with some new features, bug fixes, and a complete replacement for the controversial pose.

Her new Over-the-shoulder pose, shows her from a new angle which can be seen on the comparison below.

“We made the decision to go with a different pose in part because we shared some of the same concerns, said Overwatch game director Jeff Kaplan last week. “But also because we wanted to create something better. We actually already have an alternate pose that we love and we feel speaks more to the character of Tracer.”

The new pose still has the “butt”. To the majority, this is a pretty brilliant revision. The designers managed to address the complainant’s concerns regarding the original pose not being “playful” and “fun” enough, while also keeping Tracer’s butt squarely in the pose, thus satisfying all the other people who were outraged over the possible censorship.
