Payday 3 Still in Development; Now Using Unreal Engine

Payday

Game developer Starbreeze recently posted on social media about the upcoming video game sequel Payday 3.

According to the mysterious Twitter post, the upcoming and most awaited sequel is still in the works, specifically it is still in its design phase. Unfortunately the release date is still “to be announced” or TBA, but at least the fans now have an update of what the development team is working on.

The developers also revealed that the game now uses Unreal Engine, but does not specify which number. It should be Unreal Engine 4, since that would be the most common one to use these days, but if they got their hands on Unreal Engine 5, that would make the game more epic to play with impressive visuals.

Hopefully more details will be revealed later on since the post seems to promise more information will be unveiled soon.
