A new report recently appeared revealing the possible contents of the PlayStation 5 Box.
Senior Analyst Daniel Ahmad recently reported the contents of the upcoming PS5 box on his official Twitter account. He said that the details came from a Hong Kong distributor, which means other regions might have the same contents, but a few additional differences here and there. Basically, this will be the basic contents to see when opening your own PS5 box when it gets released.
The post has an attached image of the PS5 Standard and PS5 Digital Editions. It looks like to have the same contents anyways with the difference of the digital only for the Digital Edition.
Both PlayStation 5 Box versions have the console, wireless controller, 825GB SSD, Base, HDMI cable, AC power cord, USB cable, Instruction manual, and the pre-installed game ASTRO’s PLAYROOM. It does say that the console might need to be updated to the latest system software version in order to play it.
Ahmad seemingly joked that he “accidentally” cropped out the price of the two PlayStation 5 boxes from the image. It could also be possible that the original version did have the price, which could mean an announcement is in the horizon.
Again, take this first with a grain of salt since Sony Interactive Entertainment has not officially confirmed this yet.
The PlayStation 5 console does not have an official release date, but it should be launched sometime in the holidays 2020.
