    PlayStation Awards 2019 Winners; Console Awarded World Record

    Game company Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia recently announced the official winners of the PlayStation Awards 2019.

    PlayStation Awards 2019 winners all around

    The awards show was annually held since 1995. It recognizes the PlayStation version of hit titles sold across Japan and Asia regions.

    Platinum Prize

    Software titles with an accumulated shipment quantity (including download quantity) of over one million copies.

    Gold Prize

    Software titles (DL) with an accumulated shipment quantity (including download quantity) of over 500,000 copies.

    PlayStation awarded Guinness World Record

    In other related news, PlayStation was awarded with the Guinness World Record for the best-selling video game home console brand ever with 450.19 million units sold across the original PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. This was based from the figures gathered by VGChartz.
