Game company Sony Interactive Entertainment recently announced the newest free games for those who are subscribed to the PlayStation Plus service for January 2021.
There are three titles being offered right now and surprisingly they are all triple-A quality. PS Plus members can get the open-world/sea RPG Maneater, action adventure Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and action RPG Greedfall.
There is a catch to the first title though. Maneater will be the PlayStation 5 version only and the PS4 version will not be free to grab. While members can still claim it on the official PSN store website, playing it on the PS4 console is not possible unfortunately. They will need to play it on the new-gen console. It was also noted that it will not be available in Saudi Arabia.
Another note posted on PlayStation Blog is in regards to Greedfall. It will not be available in the Middle East, which will be replaced by Assetto Corsa. Japan and South Korea will also not have it and will be replaced by Mistover.
Since its announcement, PS Asia and Europe have not made confirmations yet. These PlayStation Plus free games will be available on January 5, 2021 until February 1, 2021.
