The Pokemon Company recently revealed a classic video game will be coming back and that is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX for the new Nintendo platform.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX release date

The Pokemon classic game was recently announced by the Pokemon Company during the Pokemon Direct 2020. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch. It will launch on March 6.

The early part of the footage reveals the 2006 version of the game, which had classic visuals. Then it flash forwards to the 2020 version where it has 3D anime visuals and highly recognizable emotions on faces. It has a storybook art style visual, which can be comparable to fighting games like Dragon Ball FighterZ.

The cutscenes are particularly of high quality visuals and well animated compared to the original version. Fight scenes were also shown, which appears to be in tactical gameplay like in Final Fantasy Tactics.

The game can be pre-purchased today on the Nintendo eShop. The demo is now available as well. It was also revealed that it will support cloud saves, pointed out by IPGesports personality Callum Hurley. This means players who have the original Switch and Switch Lite versions can use the same save data on both.
