Pre-Load the Battleborn Open Beta Now

To coincide with the Battleborn Open Beta pre-load, today, 2K and Gearbox Software revealed the new Battleborn Bootcamp trailer starring Oscar Mike and ISIC who are filming a recruitment video to have you join the Battleborn and the fight to save the Solus, the last star.

Still not sure what Battleborn is? Then join the Battleborn Open Beta where you’ll get to experience Battleborn’s episodic-style Story Mode and crush the opposing team in Competitive Multiplayer. After all, it’s up to you to command this motley crew of 25 unique Battleborn – this messy, gun-toting, magic-wielding, sword-suspending, battlemech-driving, minion-stomping crew.

The Battleborn Open Beta begins April 8th on PS4 and April 13th on PC and Xbox One, and you can pre-load NOW on all platforms.

    PS4: PlayStation Network
    PC: Steam
    Xbox One: Microsoft Store

The fight to save the last star in the universe is about to begin as Battleborn, its epic story, and its 25 playable heroes barrel toward launch day on May 3, 2016. That story is playable solo, 2-player splitscreen, or up to 5-players co-op online – and it stars you and your friends! You are the commander of the Battleborn, an uneasy alliance of intergalactic heroes from five different factions who have banded together to stop a dark and mysterious enemy from destroying the universe. Under your command, the Battleborn must live together or die alone. But this story about you and your band of heroes is told differently than other first-person shooters.

During the Open Beta, you’ll be able to experience the natural progression of Battleborn; including two Story Mode episodes, two Competitive Multiplayer Modes, 25 heroes (some instantly available, some will unlock as you progress), and as you play, you’ll rank up on three different progression systems.

You can find out everything you need to know about Battleborn’s Open Beta in this aptly named post on the official Battleborn blog.

Battleborn is rated 16 by PEGI and launches on May 3, 2016 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
