After the release of the latest batch of free games for this month, another one will be available next month for the PS Plus Essential lineup. Next month, PS Plus Essential subscribers can redeem three PS Plus August 2023 PS4 & PS5 games. This month, the highlight of the three free games is God of War, which was already available in the PS Plus Collection but was still offered for the monthly lineup. This means the next lineup could still include titles from the old collection and will be the best time to acquire them for those who did not get the chance to redeem them.

Ubisoft’s latest entry to the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is the last of its kind that incorporates RPG elements into the game. Unfortunately, these titles have focused more on that aspect and the original feature that appealed to many fans was that stealth is only secondary, which gave this game a bit of hate from the fans of the classics. It would be great to own one before Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the new title, would be released in a few months.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga – PS4, PS5
One of the best collections of LEGO characters in a game, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the culmination of ALL Star Wars-related media rolled into one LEGO title. For fans of the intergalactic space drama, this is one of the games they should have in their gaming libraries if they get the chance.
FIFA 23 – PS4, PS5
The latest entry to the FIFA games. It would be a great choice of a free game to get for PS Plus members who enjoy sports games as it adds soccer/football to the list.
