Game company Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed the official PS VR2 launch lineup, including announced new titles. There are now more than 30 games for release launching together with the PS VR2 on February 22, 2023.
Back in November 2022, SIE revealed 11 titles coming to the PS VR2 launch lineup and today, 13 more games will be joining the gaming library starting February 22, 2023. These new games will join already announced titles like Horizon Call of the Mountain, No Man’s Sky, and Resident Evil Village.
Gran Turismo 7 Free PS VR2 Upgrade
Speaking of launch titles, Gran Turismo 7 will get a free PS VR2 update on the launch day of the new virtual headset. There is also a new update from Polyphony Digital President Kazunori Yamauchi:
We’re thrilled that Gran Turismo 7 will be a PS VR2 launch title! Through a free upgrade, for those who have already purchased Gran Turismo 7, players will experience all cars and tracks in VR like never before. GT7 in VR takes full advantage of PS VR2’s next gen features. With eye tracking and foveated rendering, players will experience stunning visual fidelity while racing in any of the 450+ cars. While 2-player splitscreen races are not supported in VR, all other races, including online races, will be available. From the Nürburgring to Tsukuba, tracks can be experienced exactly as they are in real life.

Before Your Eyes
Players will be able to control the story and affect the outcomes with real-life blinks. They will be able to fully immerse in a world of memories, both joyous and heartbreaking. It will use the PS VR2’s headset front-facing camera to immerse them in a new experience. They will learn to control the flow of the narrative with their eyes.
Kayak VR: Mirage
Paddle through the ice caves of Antarctica, kayak with dolphins in Costa Rica, go through and survive a thunderstorm in Norway and discover the canyons of Australia. Explore these locations with photorealistic graphics, a rich variety of wildlife, and immersive soundscapes.
Pavlov VR
Pavlov VR is one of the popular multiplayer PC VR shooters and now it is coming to PS VR2 offering realistic weapon interactions, and attachments. It also has a range of competitive and social game modes.
Puzzling Places
Puzzling Places offers a relaxing and wholesome 3D jigsaw puzzle experience to VR. It features hyper-realistic miniatures of beautiful places from around the globe. Play the game with higher visual fidelity with sharper textures, 120 Hz, and higher render resolution. It also features eye tracking for enhanced piece selection, haptic feedback, and adaptive triggers from the PS VR2’s DualSense controller, room-scale support, and a PS VR2 1000-piece puzzle.
Song in the Smoke Rekindled
Song in the Smoke Rekindled is the ultimate VR survival action-adventure game. It lets players craft, hunt, and survive in a fantastic, dangerous, world. It has been fully remastered with beautiful graphics, improved gameplay taking advantage of the PS VR2 Sense controllers and haptics, and a new free jump and clamber mode unique to the PS VR2. It has a 15+ hour single-player campaign offering a challenge to survive a savage world filled with strange beasts who are both prey and predator.
Synth Riders Remastered Edition
Synth Riders Remastered Edition is coming to PS VR2 offering remastered visuals, gameplay adapting controller haptics, headset feedback for in-game obstacle feedback, next-gen performance, and SSD optimization to reduce load times. The remastered version is a free upgrade for everyone who owns the PS VR version of the original game including all music DLC already purchased.
Thumper
Become a space beetle on a rhythm-action hellride in Thumper. It offers simple gameplay with psychedelic visuals, an awesome soundtrack, and thrilling boss battles. On the PS VR2, it will feature 4K visuals, 3D audio, and the PS VR2 Sense controller’s haptic feedback.
NFL Pro Era
Become the QB1 of your favorite NFL team with NFL Pro Era, the first fully licensed NFL and NFLPA virtual reality game. It uses real-time game data to bring the most authentic and immersive first-person VR games ever.
What the Bat?
What the Bat? Is a slapstick comedy game from the makers of the anti-golf golfing game What the Golf? It has the same mechanics as What the Golf? Instead of golf, it is all about baseball, and in VR. It includes various minigames to challenge players which include shooting, cooking, smashing, swinging, parking, painting, pickling, and petting dogs.
Rez Infinite
Rez Infinite launched together with the PS VR as a launch title and now it continues the tradition with the PS VR2 as a launch title yet again. It promises to be the ultimate version of Rez offering a thrilling journey of sights, sounds, and shooting action with PS VR2 features like eye tracking and haptic feedback from controllers and headset feedback.
Tetris Effect: Connected
Tetris Effect: Connected offers a whole new experience for PS VR2 players: multiplayer expansion. The game is also coming to PS5 on PS VR2 launch day. Enter the Zone by closing and then opening your eyes with the eye tracking feature enabled. Feel key moments of the game and actions via the headset feedback and haptic feedback on the DualSense controller.
Creed: Rise to Glory – Championship Edition
Creed: Rise to Glory – Championship Edition is coming to PS VR2 in 2023. Experience immersive boxing like never before with the new hardware and features of the PS5 and PS VR2. Check out new game content, modes, and settings to create a more immersive and personalized experience for new and seasoned Creed players alike. It includes a reworked online PVP with optimized matchmaking and cross-platform play.
The Last Clockwinder
The Last Clockwinder is a puzzle automation game about making synchronized contraptions with clones. Play as Jules, a young woman on a mission to repair the Clocktower: an ancient haven for the galaxy’s plants and seeds that’s fallen into disrepair.
