Sony Interactive Entertainment has recently announced that the PS5 Access Controller will be released later this year.

PS5 Access Controller Release Date and Price

It has been confirmed that the PS5 Access Controller will be released globally on December 6, 2023. Pre-orders will open on July 21, 2023 with the accessibility controller priced at $89.99 only.

Customers in the US, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Portugal can pre-order the Access Controller from Sony via the official PlayStation Direct Store. There are also some select retail partners that will sell these controllers.

    Access Controller Package

The Access Controller package will include the following:

    • Analog stick caps (standard, dome and ball stick cap)
    • Button caps in different shapes and sizes, including:
      • Pillow button caps
      • Flat button caps
      • Wide flat button cap (which covers two button sockets)
      • Overhang button caps (which benefit players with smaller hands as they are positioned closer to the center)
      • Curve button caps (which can be pushed if placed along the top or pulled if placed along the bottom of the controller)
    • Swappable button cap tags for players to easily mark which inputs they map to each button

The Access Controller lets players customize their layout with different buttons and stick caps in various shapes and designs. It lets them operate the controller from any 360-degree orientation and connect third-party accessibility accessories using its four industry-standard 3.5mm expansion ports.
