PS5’s Project Q Reportedly Launching Later This Year

If true, the PS5 accessory will be available earlier than expected.

A new report claims that the PS5’s Project Q is going to be released later this year.

Project Q, the new handheld that CEO Jim Ryan revealed during the PlayStation Showcase, is a remote-play accessory for the PS5. It allows players to play remotely PS5 games on the device with its LED screen and controller that has similarities to a DualSense controller. It does have a caveat: it is not standalone and will need a working PS5 to make it work and play games.

A new report from Insider Gaming reporter Tom Henderson revealed that Project Q will be launching sometime in November 2023. No other detail was revealed but this piece of information just confirmed that this new accessory could be in retail stores earlier than expected.

Again, plans could change since Sony Interactive Entertainment has not confirmed anything yet.
