Publisher Clouded Leopard Entertainment has released the second trailer for Relayer.
In the trailer, we see full well how the gameplay goes. There are multiple styles of fighting and piloting mechas as well as customizing certain mecha units with unique weapons that will benefit them greatly. Not only that, a point upgrade system has been implemented as well to improve each pilots abilities to either improve their stats or unlock new hidden skills they can use to defeat tough opponents.
Recently announced as well are new specifications made for PlayStation users, in which players can upgrade their game from the PlayStation 4 version to the PlayStation 5 version for free. Saved data and trophies can be moved over when upgrading from the PS4 version to the PS5 version.
Another thing to note, according to the main website, RELAYER official release date has been moved to March 24th, 2022.
The creators of the game made this statement:
“We apologize for the inconvenience caused to all Japanese game fans who were looking forward to the release date.
In addition, we are very sorry for the delay in delivering product information and release date information to overseas game fans. Every day, we receive inquiries from game fans all over the world regarding overseas sales, and we have been coordinating with the people concerned if we have to do something about it.”
Relayers as announced will be released on March 24th, 2022 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 worldwide. Pre-orders can be made online or through local gaming stores.
