Gunfire Games is currently working on crossplay support for its popular co-op shooter Remnant 2.
It was recently confirmed by Gunfire Games President and Remnant 2 Director David Adams. This was revealed in an AMA recently on the Remnant subreddit. He was asked if Gunfire Games was going to add crossplay into the game and it was confirmed by him that it was currently in the works.
“Yes, we are looking at it,” Adams wrote. “There are issues with the different platforms and what they require in order to allow crossplay, but it is being actively worked on.”
Aside from the crossplay support, Adams shared an update on the invite issue on the PS5 version of Remnant 2. He admits that the issue has gotten buried and in the foreseeable future, Gunfire Games is just going to support joining a player’s game via the join menu.
Remnant 2 is now available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
