Remnant 2: How to Get Loadstone Crown

Do you ever have moments when you know there is something more to an area in Remnant but you just can’t figure out how to get there? That’s a feeling a Remnant 2 player has from time to time. And it’s a good way to describe the situation with the Loadstone Crown.

The Loadstone Crown is a bit of an anomaly in Remnant 2. It looks and feels like it is something that can be used to unlock a secret or two in Yaesha but as far as we can tell, no such thing needs the Loadstone Crown. At least not yet. More of a fashion option, the crown’s best feature is the fact that it is highly resistant to Blight. But don’t expect it to have much in the way of Armor value.

How to get the Loadstone Crown in Remnant 2?

The Loadstone Crown can only be found in the Lament dungeon. The dungeon itself can be found in both questlines of Yaesha.

If you are looking for the crown, you first need to find an item called Kolket’s Razor. You can find it by fighting the Aberation that comes out of the chest before or after you solve the door puzzle there.

The so-called razor holds a secret that most people wouldn’t know of until they bother to inspect the quest item. If you rotate the object and have a look at the tip, you’ll see the ‘interact’ button on it.

Pressing the button will transform the razor into Kolket’s Key. The item we need to open the door where the Loadstone Crown can be found.

The chamber you’re looking for is at the far end of the dungeon. You’ll know you’re going to the right place if you see these floating rocks. (As pictured above.)

To get through the trap, you’ll need to find the correct symbol and take a literal “walk of faith” on an invisible bridge. Look for the correct symbol on the next line of floating until you successfully get across the chasm. You already know what will happen if you choose incorrectly.

Hint: A clever trick involves shooting the air leading to the next floating rock. If you see the bullet holes and dust kicking up, chances are a bridge is there. If the bullet passes through into nothingness, there’s no bridge there. Simple, yeah?

Once you’re on the other side, use the key to open the door. You should find yourself in a cylindrical room. On one of the slabs, you should see the Ring of Diversion. Pick it up if you haven’t already.

Now, one would think that would be the end of it. But it’s not. Above your head, you’ll see the outline of an interact circle on top of a suspended ship. That is where we need to go to get the Loadstone Crown.

To get to the ship, simply look at the left side of the room. There is a fake wall between the entrance and a stone slab. Get close to it to reveal a hidden passageway leading to the ship.

Once you get to the top of the passageway, drop down and you’ll be on top of the ship. Be careful of the jump, it might be best to take the slow approach here. The crown will be right there placed on the skeleton. Pick it up to add it to your collection.

Although we don’t know the exact purpose of the Loadstone Crown, reading the flavor text reveals a potential use for the crown.

"Although much of the knowledge of the ancient Pan has been lost to time. It is known they had their own form of magic. The Lodestones are thought to be part of this, allowing them to create artifacts that reacted to each other's presence in unique and sometimes powerful ways."

We will update this article should we come across any new information regarding any sets the crown might be part of.
