Sony surprised its audiences during their E3 2018 showcase the first footage of game publisher CAPCOM’s remake of the popular Resident Evil 2.
Resident Evil 2 Remake revealed
The new video showed some footage of what to expect of the upcoming remake. It has modern visuals and featured popular protagonists Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield exploring a ruined Racoon City. The camera also looks like to be over-the-shoulder now, which is the same as the more modern Resident Evil games.
The best news of this announcement is the game’s release date, which is on January 25, 2019, for the PlayStation 4.
* update: It’s coming to Windows PC and Xbox One as well.
