CAPCOM has now announced the Resident Evil 4 Remake free DLC that will be launched soon.

The popular extra mode called The Mercenaries is going to be released for Resident Evil 4 Remake on April 7, 2023. This will be a free DLC drop for the game, which is a great gift from CAPCOM.

This new information came from the latest launch trailer which was shown in the last part of the video. It was also revealed that a Resident Evil 4 Remake VR mode will be released as a free DLC for PS5 and PS VR2.

Aside from The Mercenaries mode DLC, CAPCOM is now working on a fix for the flickering lights issue in the game on PS5. Surprisingly, this is only happening on the next-gen PlayStation console. The developers revealed that the issue would happen if a player would select certain settings.

Currently, players are advised to set the depth of field to off for now and set motion blur in the camera tab to on.

“We’re aware of an issue where players may experience flickering lights at the bottom of the screen when playing the PS5 version of Resident Evil 4,” Capcom said.

“We intend to fix the issue in a future update and apologize for any inconvenience!”
