A new post online has revealed that the upcoming video game Resident Evil 4 Remake will have in-game purchases.
Just like its predecessor, Resident Evil 3 Remake, the upcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake will be having in-game purchases. This new information comes from the official website of the Entertainment Software Rating Board or ESRB. It lists the title to have in-game purchases on PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, which just cements this is the remake version.
No other details were shared to explain the in-game purchases label, but if it will be the same as RE3, then it will be in the form of multiplayer mode. It could be similar to Resident Evil Resistance which featured online multiplayer gameplay and in-game purchases for costumes and such.
No official statement from CAPCOM yet, but since this information came from ESRB, it is most likely true.
Resident Evil 4 Remake launches on March 24, 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
