Jack Krauser is one of the bosses in Resident Evil 4 Remake. He is a mercenary hired by Wesker to infiltrate Los Iluminados with the goal of stealing a sample of the Plaga. As part of his infiltration, he was hired by Los Iluminados to kidnap Ashley, and because of this, he has to go toe-to-toe against Leon, his former squad member.

Read ahead as we go through the fight against Jack Krauser in Resident Evil 4 Remake and share some tips and tricks to make the fight easier.

How to defeat Jack Krauser Phase 1 - Resident Evil 4 Remake

    How to defeat Jack Krauser

Your first encounter with Krauser is during Chapter 11 where he ambushes and throws his knife at Luis to take back the Plagas sample. He then challenges Leon to a knife fight.

As soon as the fight starts, look to your right and get the boot knife that is stuck on a plank. Your knife skills will be challenged in this fight as you’ll have to slash and parry your way against Krauser. After taking a few hits, Krauser will get staggered and leave an opening for you to do your kick.

Once his health is below a threshold, he will do a low kick. If you cannot avoid this kick, you’ll be sent hanging down a ledge where you will have to mash your button to not fall and get the opportunity to strike back and stab his leg.

You will need to pay attention to his knife combo and try to parry every single one of his slashes. Krauser can also jump high and land behind you to do a backstab, so quickly turn around and parry it as well.

After taking enough hits, Leon will get overpowered, but a still living Luis shoots at Krauser, causing Krauser to end the fight and leave instead. A cutscene then plays showing Luis giving the key to his laboratory to Leon to save Ashley before he finally passes away.
