CAPCOM has recently confirmed Resident Evil 4 Remake PS4 but surprisingly, there is no Xbox One version.
It was recently confirmed at the Tokyo Game Show 2022 event that Resident Evil 4 Remake will be coming to the last-gen console PS4, which is big news for fans of this particle RE title. Since PS5 stocks are still quite low, having the remake on PS4 is such a blessing. Unfortunately for the green side of the gaming fence, it seems CAPCOM will be skipping Xbox One. The developers have not shared the reason for skipping this version.
This could be due to Japanese gamers usually playing more on the PS4 rather than on the Xbox One. The next-gen console Xbox Series X/S is there though since it is a particular new console and many gamers might be getting one.
Resident Evil Remake will be built from the ground up and will be based on the original GameCube version.
Resident Evil 4 Remake launches on March 24, 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
