A new report revealed that the ones behind the rumored Resident Evil 4 Remake is getting rebooted and its release date just got pushed back to a later year.
Media outlet VGC reported that studio M-Two, the guys behind RE3 Remake, has some disagreements with CAPCOM. This had led to them not being in charge of the upcoming remake project anymore, unfortunately. As a result, CAPCOM’s Division 1 will be taking the helm this time.
The report revealed that M-Two wanted to remain faithful to the original RE4, but CAPCOM wants it to be more or less inspired by it. The publisher wants to take on a different route and have other elements added in.
Now M-Two is not the ones in-charge of the development. CAPCOM has rebooted the development and will delay Resident Evil 4 into 2023.
