Resident Evil Village Use of PS5’s 3D Audio for Big Scares Confirmed by Developers

CAPCOM producers Tsuyoshi Kanda and Peter Fabiano recently shared on the Official PlayStation Magazine (December 2020 issue) about how the PlayStation 5’s 3D Audio plays a key role in upcoming survival horror video game Resident Evil Village.

The developers confirmed that aside from the incredible visuals that the game will have with the PS5, audio will have a key role. 3D audio will be the center of it all when it comes to delivering the scares, which makes it scarier than ever.

Expect some big jump scares and dreadful sounds coming from the back as players push forward to their goal. Or just trying to survive an area and hope for the best.

Resident Evil Village is expected to launch sometime in 2021.
