Game company Ubisoft has announced that the extreme sports video game Riders Republic will now launch later this year.
The game is officially delayed after the developers posted the announcement on its official Twitter account. It was their decision to move the release date later this year in order for their team to deliver the best gaming experience for the players.
This could mean they are still in the process of fixing issues that the game is currently plagued with. After the disastrous launch of CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077, it is no surprise that more and more studios are opting for delays rather than hasty launches.
Fans and intrigued gamers are actually welcoming this move by Ubisoft and its development team. Some are encouraging them to take their time so that the results will be at least playable, but hopefully not buggy.
Riders Republic launches later this year on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
