RUMOR: Next Call Of Duty Is Black Ops 4 And Will Also Come To Nintendo Switch

As we already all know, Call of Duty has an annual release from Activision’s development studios. Last year, the franchise went back to its World War II roots starting off with Sledgehammer Games, this time it’s Treyach’s turn. Now, rumors are already circulating that this year’s Call of Duty entry will be Black Ops 4. Will this be Treyarch’s next Call of Duty game? Maybe? Maybe not?

This information came from a reliable source who also predicted Nintendo Labo and the rough date for Nintendo Direct last month. Marcus Stellar, reviewer and editor for Nintendo-centric sites, has posted on Twitter that this new entry for Call of Duty will be Black Ops 4. But wait, there’s one surprising detail: it will also come to the Nintendo Switch. We have heard Activision’s enthusiasm to support the platform. It would not be a complete “surprise” as Nintendo Switch got Skyrim, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and DOOM. The Black Ops 4 version will support the HD Rumble, motion controls, and will also have downloadable contents.

COD 2018 is Black Ops 4 and is coming to PS4/Xbox/PC/Switch. It is set in the modern times and is boots on the ground. The Switch version will support DLC, HD Rumble and motion controls. The Switch version is also being ported by a company which is familar with COD games.

Rumors are rumors, these can true or not. It’s not absolute. With Marcus Sellar’s reputation, there’s a slight truth to it. We will hear more from Activision later this year, probably at E3.
