Deep Silver and Volition have recently announced the Saints Row 2023 Content Roadmap, which will introduce major releases.
The Saints Row 2023 Content Roadmap was surprisingly revealed today after a long silence from both publisher and developer. It will introduce three major releases for Expansion Pass holders over the coming months and two free new districts, three more quality-of-life updates, and a Dead Island 2-inspired cosmetic pack for all players.
The first content drop is the free Dead Island 2 Pack on April 11, 2023. It will be a Dead Island 2 collaboration content that will let players dress up their bosses with items from characters of the upcoming zombie game sequel. There are also new items to acquire like new weapons, new emotes, decorations, and more.
The next one is the game’s biggest free update scheduled for May 2023 with Sunshine Springs. This is a new district added to Santo Ileso. It comes with quality of life changes like overhauled combat, Selfie mode, and more. Expansion Pass holders get The Heist and The Hazardous which are three new story missions that are set in Sunshine Springs. This is the Saints most ambitious heist as payback for being double-crossed by a famous actor.
The second Expansion Pass will launch in July 2023 which is called Doc Ketchum’s Murder Circus. This is a new solo game mode, but the developers did not explain it any further. It will add another free quality of life upgrade and new features.
At August 2023, Expansion Pass holders can get the third, final, and largest pack. This month will also introduce a second new district expansion and quality of life update that will be free for all players.
Saints Row is out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
