A Legendary Hunt for Black Powder is one of the newest voyages that can be taken in Sea of Thieves. This voyage will have players locate stashes of black powder that have been buried at several sites across an island.

Where to purchase the A Legendary Hunt for Black Powder voyage
The A Legendary Hunt for Black Powder voyage can be purchased from either the Pirate Lord or from any Shipwright as a Pirate Legend for 50 doubloons.
How to complete the A Legendary Hunt for Black Powder voyage
Once the voyage has been purchased and voted on, as a captain, you will receive an X Marks the Spot map. On this map, you will see one of the Skeleton Forts and on it are seven red Xs that mark the spots of where the stashes have been buried.
To complete this voyage, head towards the island shown on the map and go to each of the marked spots to dig out the stashes. The voyage will be completed as soon as you dig out the last marked stash. You do not need to keep or use any of the stashes that you get to make any progress towards the voyage.
All of the stashes that you will get will have an explosive theme and can be one of the following items:
- Athena’s Fortune Firework Crate
- Firebomb Crate
- Gunpowder Barrel
- Keg of Ancient Black Powder
- Stronghold Gunpowder Barrel
