It’s another week filled with decent games! Our team was able to review the latest releases post-launch since review copies were sent out a day after the games’ release date. However, we were able to play the games before launch like Super Rude Bear Resurrection by Alex Rose Games and Rain Games’ World to the West.
If you missed our reviews this week, here are the games that the Sirus Reviews team was able to play:
LEGO City Undercover (PS4) – Provided by Warner Bros. Entertainment
Traveller’s Tale | Leif Bornales | May 2, 2017
Score: 9 / 10
“Lego City Undercover is a fun and entertaining game. If you love anything that’s Lego and want to immerse yourself in an open world that comes alive and reacts to whatever you do, then this is a game worth playing.” — Read the full review
Super Rude Bear Resurrection (PS4) – Provided by Alex Rose Games
Alex Rose Games | David Rix | May 2, 2017
Score: 8.5 / 10
“Overall, Super Rude Bear Resurrection is a platformer, which shouldn’t slip under your radar, especially if you like getting kicked in the balls. You’ll die over and over again, but you’ll have a lot of fun doing so, while some grimey music blasts in the background. Also, be sure to try and beat the whole game without dying, there’s a $1000 waiting for you at the end of it.” — Read the full review
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 (PC) – Provided by Capcom
Capcom | Dale Kakilala (Guest Reviewer) | May 2, 2017
Score: 8 / 10
“Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is a one way ticket to nostalgia express if you are a fan of the Versus series. However, this is a flawed experience for you if you are just a common gamer because of its limited content and bad multiplayer. If you are a hardcore fighting game fan or a competitive gamer, then this game is a must buy where you consider the amount of nostalgia looming in this game as it harkens back to the days of X-Men versus Street Fighter.” — Read the full review
The Deer God (PS4) – Provided by Crescent Moon Games
Crescent Moon Games, Cinopt Studios | Rachelle Tan | May 3, 2017
Score: 6.7 / 10
“The Deer God has actual potential to become a good game but it still lacks a lot of things for players who will expect too much.” — Read the full review
Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War III (PC) – Provided by SEGA
Relic Entertainment | John Fernandez | May 4, 2017
Score: 6 / 10
“Dawn of War 3 is confusing. It revives the old ideas of Dawn of War 1, but does it pretty badly. It completely removes the ideas from Dawn of War 2 because it is too uncontrollable for e-sports.” — Read the full review
Full Throttle Remastered (PS4) – Provided by Double Fine Productions
LucasArts | Rachelle Tan | May 5, 2017
Score: 9.4 / 10
“You may have the liberty to drive anywhere but it has limits. Anyways, it was a great ride and I personally would recommend this game. So what are you waiting for? Grab your leather jackets, fuel a tank full for your bike and get going. The Polecats are waiting and adventure awaits on the highway!” — Read the full review
World to the West (PS4) – Provided by SOEDESCO
Rain Games | Leif Bornales | May 5, 2017
Score: 7.5 / 10
“I can say though that for an indie game, this still provides a unique and enjoyable experience. Though the graphics is not on par to the likes of Horizon Zero Dawn, it is great in its own unique and quirky way. If you’re looking for an adventure that is not Zelda, then this game is for you.” — Read the full review
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Switch) – Copy purchased by the Reviewer.
Nintendo EPD | Roxanne Co | May 6, 2017
Score: 8.7 / 10
“Overall this is a pretty good game, and one of the best Mario Karts so far. There’s not much on the Switch at the moment so this is a great purchase for people to tide them over until Fire Emblem comes out.” — Read the full review
