Skull and Bones Delayed Again with Announcement of Open Beta

There'll be an Open Beta before the official launch though.

Skull and Bones delayed again in a new announcement from Ubisoft.

Skull and Bones Delayed Again

Ubisoft has now decided to delay the release of Skull and Bones again after its previous delay and planned release on November 8, 2022. The launch has now shifted to next year, March 9, 2023 on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC via Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store. Instead of an earlier release, the developers have something else in store for us.

Open Beta Revealed

There will be an Open Beta held before the Skull and Bones worldwide launch. This will ensure players get a firsthand look at the game’s dangerous world. They will get the chance to check the game’s unique take on the piracy fantasy, its gritty naval combat, and the immersive and beautiful seas of the 17th-century Indian Ocean.

Currently, the game development is already finished, but the extra time will be used to further polish and balance the experience. The developers will use the players’ feedback from Technical Tests and Insider Program which happened over the past two weeks. Ubisoft is firm to say that this was the right decision to delay the game for the sake of both their players and the long-term success of the game.
