In a new recent tweet made in SEGA Twitter account, they have announced an update about their next game project entitled, “Sonic Frontiers.” In the tweet, they announced that the game will be supporting multiple languages in both voice over and subtitles.
From the same tweet, SEGA is letting us know that the Sonic teams have already been hard at work in localizing Sonic Frontiers to bring it to new audiences.
From this we now know that Sonic Frontiers will support the following voiced and subtitled languages: (voice and text)
- English
- French
- German
- Italian
- Japanese
- Spanish
It will also support the following subtitled languages: (text only)
- Brazilian/Portuguese
- Korean
- Polish
- Russian
- Simplified Chinese
- Traditional Chinese
What is Sonic Frontiers?
Sonic Frontiers is the latest Sonic game that will feature open world gameplay, a first for the series. Players will have an experience like never before. They will accelerate to new heights and experience the thrill of high velocity open-zone freedom and battle powerful enemies as you speed through the Starfall Islands – landscapes brimming with dense forests, overflowing waterfalls, sizzling deserts and more!
Sonic Frontiers is set to release this Holiday 2022 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
